I'm playing vanilla though, without Amplified. Maybe they forgot the option for people without DLC. I checked the sprite folder, and the sprite sheets are there, but no way to select them in-game that i could find.
The Dangan soundtrack just completely does not fit the game either.
Maybe it's just because I really like Danganronpa, but I completely disagree. I'm so much more into it with this music, as much as I like the vanilla soundtrack too.
Everything else so far was retro-ish or otherwise made/themed to fit the game despite it's genres, this seems to be the exception. Ah well, suppose it's a option (though i wish i could decide what shows up in Random soundtrack though, to exclude some of the ones that don't work too well for me).
I dislike most crossovers because the vast majority of them does not put in enough effort to appeal to anyone that is not a fan of both already. But since it was a free update I guess there is no reason to whine, I am more than happy to have Chipzel on board and could close an eye on the other thing and its flaws...
Beat Monk as soon as i set that soundtrack, so clearly it is the best. Plus Zone 1-2 sounds seriously great!
Cheers
I barely even know what a Danganronpa is and I really liked it - it's a shame that they didn't extend it to also cover Zone 5, though, as shifting from one to the other was a little jarring.
Is it entirely music from the other game, though? Unedited? I ask because when I was playing through just now, some of the melodies in a couple of the tracks seemed kind of similar to a couple from the vanilla Necrodancer OST (I think particularly in Zone 3).
