well that solves that lol

At most, 38 people have all of the the achievements on this game, out of almost a million. Most of them have over thousand hours too. If you're looking for easy achievements, this is unfortunately not your game.

There's the "Level Four Revive Materia" achievement for a game called Hate Plus, which is physically impossible to get, so it can't be the hardest. But it's probably up there. "Impossible, Right?" and "Lowest of the Low" are certainly some of the most ridiculous achievements I've ever seen in a game.

There's definitely harder ones out there not counting broken ones(intentionally or not). But "Impossible Right?" and Lowest of the Low are definitely pretty hard too.

At least they're actual achievements. Some games seem to think that achievements are spending ludicrous amounts of time grinding, "collect a thousand of this item that you get one of by defeating the final boss". I don't currently have any Steam games like this, but Factorio's 20M circuits comes close, that was 100 hours of just sitting around doing nothing and letting automation do it's thing.

Well in some other games a few of the achievements can be bugged and the developers don't lift a finger fixing those even if people report them as broken. I'd have two more perfect games, but alas that will not happen because of those achievements. But yeah, CotND is something I'll never 100% because a few of them are quite simply bonkers. Largely due to being a randomized game each run, I'd have more luck doing no death runs on some quite lengthy and relatively tough games(as long as they can be memorized) than doing All Chars runs and the like in ND...

probably some of the hardest purely skill based achievements, yeah. a coda clear is probably up there with defeating zatsuza in dodonpachi resurrection's black label mode, or aki in mushihimesama's ultra mode. (these have a higher achievement ratio, but are also super niche games, so there's probably a much higher concentration of super expert players as well)

You'd have to account for all of the hackers too, because no way the 0,1% clear rate for Coda is truthful when it is not Steam's lowest dispalyable percentage. I would say that those other games probably have a couple of hackers too.

It's Steam's lowest displayable percentage. The only way to show lower is if it's in a rarest achievement showcase on someone's profile, but even that's only accurate to 0.01%.

If you want the actual numbers, go here: https://crypt.toofz.com/leaderboards

Coda speed is 63, Coda speed on Amplified is 13, so the actual number of people with the achievement is 50-76.

The lowest completion rate for a mode that gives an achievement is All Chars + DLC, at 38 records. Thus, that's the answer to the post. Just divide by the number of players, which is roughly a million, to get something along the lines of 0.004%.

Steam does display 0,0% on the global achievements tab and the achievement showcase(note, not the "Rarest Achievement Showcase")
I know that because I had What Just Happened? while the unlock rate for it was 0,04% (displayed as 0,0% on global achievements though), which is surprising, since it is not that hard and at least 2 months after the AMPLIFIED launch have passed, if not more, then if we are generous to believe that 100 people cleared Coda, and that makes it 0,1%, then I wouldn't believe that 100 people wouldn't be able to get a far easier achievement in two months time to make it 0,1%?

Currently all of the achivements for the game are sitting at at least 0,1%, I went on to double check because I believe I catched that brief 0,0% timeframe with I Love Ewe too, but didn't pay too much attention and after enough people got it, I can't really use it as proof since it is now the run of the mill 0,1.

Well we can agree that most of the Coda clears are hacked if they can't submit a run summary at the very least as proof.
Achievements are bizzare on Steam compared to consoles in many ways. Like there is a lot more people not playing the games at at, and inflating the achievement rates for no reason.
A good example would be Feel The Beat in Jet Set Radio, which you literally get by just starting the game, while on Xbox the unlock rate for it is about 99%, on Steam it shows only as 85,1%. In most games it is harder to pinpoint than that since you can argue that people rage quit the mandatory tutorial or something like that, not obtaining the most common achievement.
Another point of reference I used to have was Rogue Legacy, the achievements for the pretty hard but not impossibly hard boss remixes, ranging from 1,9% to 3,9% for the individual ones that don't require previous ones to be obtained, using that I expected CotND to be even harder than it is with simpler stuff like Peace Out which is still sitting at 0,8% even though in my opinion it is far easier than the aforementioned RL achievements.
