Ring of Frost Overpowered
I feel like the ring of frost is overpowered. The frost dagger was always in check because while it could 2 hit any enemy, it still had a dagger attack. The ring of frost basically turns any weapon into a hybrid of itself plus the frost dagger, which i find makes it all too easy to defeat even the toughest enemies in the game. I feel like the ring of frost could be nerfed in some way maybe

There really aren't many reason to use other rings.

You would swap for Ring of Gold if you were going for gold.
You would swap for Ring of Life if you wanted a better ring.
You might swap for Ring of Protection if you need armor as Aria, maybe.

It's just too dang good. Maybe have the ring melt if you go down a few floors (5?) with it? I mean, it's a Ring of Frost, your character's body heat should melt it and make it a Ring of Useless.

I disagree for the simple reason that it takes a ring slot. I swap off of it all the time for ring of might (say, if I have a high damage weapon and could then 1-hit everything) or courage or regen or piercing or various other rings. Sure, 2-hitting everything is cool, and it's cooler with more range, but it's also in some situations worse than the tanking utility of regen or the spell power of mana.

As far as leaderboard runs and races go, there are plenty of reasons to use other rings. Frost is extremely safe but it doesn't do a whole lot for speed unless you have other freezes to provide some synergy, and obviously has no value for score either.

Still, when it comes to casual safety I do think it's slightly dumb how easy it is to avoid almost all threats. But I don't think it needs a huge nerf, the only change I'd make is to take away the 2HKOs. Keep that mechanic unique to the Dagger, the Ring really doesn't need it. It'd still be a pretty safe weapon, just a bit slower and leaves some chance to make you worry about swams again.

But I don't think there's going to be any more balance changes now that Early Access is done. Any new nerfs would probably need a leaderboard reset, even if it's only for an item that's not often seen on the leaderboards there are sure to be a few runs invalidated. Which I don't think they want to do unless there's something gamebreaking enough to necessitate it, which Frost isn't.
