Any Coda tips?

I just unlocked Coda, and I can't even finish 1-1 with her. About 90% of my deaths come from thinking I have two squares of range and walking right into a white skeleton or blue slime (the other 10% is because of Vow of Poverty). Besides playing more Aria, is there any way I can practice using the dagger?

Dude, congrats on unlocking her ! xD and as for your question, I think you may never accomplish anything because of how hard she is but hey, who knows ? We're clearly not part of the same league !

Congrats! Sorry, don't have any tips but I am trying to finish Aria, & keep dying miserably. Did it take you long to master her once you had unlocked her? :)

I completed Aria last of the first nine characters, so she's still a bit beyond my skill level. I'd suggest completing everyone else before cracking Aria. Bolt, Eli, and Dove in particular are great characters to practice before Aria.

As for Coda, I've finally made it to the mini-boss on 1-1! It's too bad that Direbats and Coda don't mix.

Krauvando (you can find him around here) has the all zone achievement for her. Might wanna get in touch with him if you plan on entering the 0,1%

Coda is ridiculously hard, the main way to actually improve with her, is just practice. Get to know all quick kills for bosses, ways to handle groups of enemies, and since you complete All Chars, you should already know how to kill all enemies without being damaged. I have only beaten Zones 1 and 2 with her, but the main thing is just practice. You will die A LOT in each individual zone, so much that it seems impossible. Then you get that one perfect run of the zone, that helps you beat the Zone. You will eventually be able to beat every Zone, and possibly All Zones with Coda, it just will take lots, lots, and lots of time and practice. There is litteraly not much else to say. Also for vow of poverty, try killing enemies in the same square or area.

Hey, thanks for the tips! Yeah, Coda's much harder than All Chars mode, and that was a nightmare as it is.

I can't even beat Aria consistently, much less Coda. Maybe I should stick to my Bolt runs.
