Edit: Download PS3 and PS4 Drivers
For the PS4 controllers, you need a software called DS4.
For the PS3 controllers, you need a software called SCP ToolKit.
They need to emulate Xbox 360 controllers within the softwares settings. Then it'll work. You need at least 2 controllers for it to work as the first controller functions as a player 1 input.
will try that ps3 software thanks lightningdash as i only have 1 xbox controller:)
pinnicle game profiler also makes any controller work play vcd with a flight stick if want to but that software cost money
ah bummer i only have 1 usb ps3 controller n 5 wireless ones oh well:)
DS4 and SCP Toolkit supports the controllers wirelessly via bluetooth (If you have a Bluetooth 4.0 you should be fine), you can buy a USB bluetooth 4.0 Adapter on the cheap anywhere.
On DS4 for PlayStation 4 controllers, you can change the input number of the controller. This means you can preset it to player 2 or player 3 (or Beyond). But Viscera needs to detect additional controllers before hand for it to work. Though this shouldn't be nesscary. You can mix and match Xbox 360 controllers and PlayStation controllers perfectly fine in Viscera. So long as the Playstation controllers are set to emulate Xbox 360 Controllers, which they do if you use the above software mentioned.
thanks now i can do splitscreen with 1 xbox n 1 ps3 controller
Use SCP Toolkit. Much safer, eaiser and doesn't require an internet connection to randomly download some malware. SCP Toolkit also works for PS4 controllers.
Bare in mind, some 3rd party "Fake" PS3 controllers and a mixture of Bluetooth devices may or may not work in Bluetooth mode. This is being invesigated but there is a work around.
I'd recommend Xbox 360 or Playstation 4 controllers only. PS3 controllers are a little bit more involved and requires messing with some 3rd party Bluetooth Drivers which will render your Bluetooth device useful ONLY for the controllers and nothing else. Beware.
And once again, I can 100% confirm Viscera supports 4 players but ohhh man does the game start's to lag. You best get a really powerful machine for this.
