How many hours the campaign last?, Replayability?
I am considering getting it, but would like to know how long it last and how about replayability, as well about if is challenging or not?.
Thanks in advance for taking your time to answer!

Took me 31 hours to complete everything, but after having done so, I never felt the urge to start the game up again. Still, I would say that is great value for money.

So yeah, it does have a lot of replayability if by that you mean going back and doing all the different special challenges, replaying all the levels and getting all the stars. However, I highly doubt anyone would want to do that a second time... I certainly didn't want to.

If you're only doing the basics, the campaign will probably last 6-8 hours; but if you want to get 3 stars and Iron and Heroic Mode everywhere you will probably spend at least 24h on it. There's not really any replayability beyond that because the levels and waves stay the same after you beat it; there is no randomness. :krskull:

I don't consider myself a tower defense fan, I have plenty of TD games in my steam library though and every once in a blue moon I start one up but then I forget about it again and don't touch it for half a year. But this game is really really good I played it all the way though. I don't think I would replay it from the start as it would probably feel way too easy and thus tedious... but to get to the point where you aced the game in everything and collect all the stars and achievements etc. you're usually looking at 20+ hours. Also let's not forget that the campaign will get another 50% longer with the Curse of Castle Blackburn "free DLC" that's upcoming. So yeah great value for the money. It says 45 hours in my steam right now but I think it's more like 30-35, I alt-tab a lot.

I'm up for tower defense, but too many "steam level zero" & "profile private" astroturf to sell me on this one. I'm going to wait.

Finally -75% :). This game is great and if someone want to make all achievements etc. then it's also pretty long. I finished basic campaign on my phone but now on steam i want to max everything.

Yeah around 30 hours sounds about right. Was great fun, will have to reinstall once the new missions come out.

I've completed the game (main storyline) and I've got 'i think' heroic on all of the matches and iron on the first half of them. I've also completed the few more tracks they released after the campaign (except the latest ones - fungal forest, which are super hard). Taken me 16 hours. HOWEVER it would of taken longer I imagine for newer players, as I have completed this game before and just completely blitzed a few levels because I knew what to do.

Its a great game, best TD I've ever played. artwork is amazing and cute, the achivements are reasonable to obtain. The levels are well designed, even with little easter eggs here and there, like some shrooms from plants vs zombies and the little squirrel from ice age thats always after that nut.

There are no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ microtransactions, adverts, dlcs or any other shenanigans. You get the whole game for the price you paid for it, which can't be said for alot of games these days.

It's on sale, get it ;)

Oh also they plan to update it soon with a new campaign expansion, totally free. However this update has been in the making for quite a few months, even half a year at this point. So no one is really sure when we'll get it lol, BUT ONE DAY we will get it, the devs always deliver late.

Highly recommend it, one of the best TD game.

And I thought "no Steam achievements = no buy" was one of the most stupid reasons not to buy a game, but... :snaggletooth:

It is challenging, but once you find a strategy to beat a level that's it. You'll find a lot of humour in this very polished game. Upgrading towers is extremely satisfaying, mind your strategy because placing a tower in the wrong place has long term effects.
Buy it !

Ikr, clearly if you have a private profile you have no idea what a good game is..

If it was about the mechanics of the game i would agree but.. opinions are opinions to me. I have not seen 1 bad comment so i will buy it.

The campaign is challenging and quite long for a new player. Then you have special challenges, which can be hard even for a good player. And post-campaign levels go from hard-even-for-someone-used-to-it to oh-my-god-how-can-I-pass-that. :krskull:

Plus the graphics are fantastic, and the humor very nice. To me, this game has a huge value for its price. If you like TD, you have to buy it. If, like me, that's not your favourite type of game, you should buy it ;)
