are you okay ?
Give it a little more time. Sometimes, it creeps in at the last minute to delay forum discourse and then everyone gets the stuttering, slowdown, and crashing and there are a lot of angry people.
i am yet to see a bad game from obisidian entertainment everything they made was pure gold
if this came out and it sucks thats whatever but yall been nonstop doomposting in this forum hoily f this whole DiE WokE thing made gamers worse than before now we are just HOPING for games to fail
Pillars 2? Outer Worlds? Dungeon Siege 3?
Perhaps you misunderstand; this is about Denuvo DRM crippling games, the fraud involved in protecting the Denuvo product, making the paying customer pay for that client side malware and supporting the greed addiction program.
It is not about woke culture in any way but an unquenchable addiction program. Whether you're the CEO or the criminal thug on the street the ideology is the same - separate another from their wealth such that it goes into your pocket instead and it isn't making the world a better place through numerous distraction programs such as woke culture.
I mean, you might think so. I agree Deadfire wasn't bad but imo it wasn't the followup I wanted and it had genuine flaws. There's a reason why people look to Owlcat and Larian as shining examples of modern CRPGs and now Obsidian's PoE games much as I love the setting.
Deadfire sold badly though, Dungeon Siege 3 was a trashcan fire, and though Outer Worlds sold a lot just like Starfield based on premise and prestiege, also like Starfield it became panned by fans afterward.
Most people probably never finished the game, as 90% of reviews are with only a few hours played. The opening hours of the game are good, but it falls of a cliff hard, most people agree the second half was rushed and the DLC retreads too much ground. Outer Worlds is considered mid and bland by many RPG fans,
So yeah, it's actually been a while since Obsidian has had a true hit. That's the whole reason why they sold themselves to Microsoft and likely why they're still only being given AA funding.
You're delusional. Obsidian has never used it.
That's good news, then. You should have seen the Callisto Protocol - they snuck Denuvo in at the last minute and everyone went rabid upon finding out.
Considering the performance issues of that game, I'm not surprised there was an uproar.
I've been watching and studying what Denuvo does since it came out. I've been watching various forms of DRM and seeing their effects for the past 30 years.
