My brain still can't comprehend it despite the logic. I'm stuck in 2019 dollars. Every time I remind myself it's *actually* cheaper, I still think "Oh no, $70. I can't buy that right away".

I'm currently in the middle of playing 5 games right now anyway, I'll wait and if it's cheaper by then I'll get it and maybe some bugs will even be worked out by then.

No, it's not worth anything over $30 max. The game is like Oblivion, but you take out all the physics, and the lived feel. All the character dialog, including NPC interactions with one another are scripted and will not play more than once. Guard do not actually respond to violence and are often unable to be attacked. The character creation system is one of the worst I have ever seen. Playing it on game-pass. It's terrible. The positive reviews are bots/shills.

From playing it on Gamepass I'd say NO WAY is this a 70$ game. 30 at best. It's just kinda boring. The world looks nice I guess but that's about it. It's all so shallow so far. I don't even feel any interest to keep playing it.

It's not worth it. Wait for a deep discount or try it on game pass. The asking price is a scam for how little has to offer. It's a very mediocre game. I would recommend to buy Kingdom's of Amalur Re- Reckoning if you need to scratch the itch of high fantasy.

well that is CAD, so I cant relate to that, maybe you had it easy and games used to be like 30 or 40 bucks if I convert my currency to yours, but here they have been 69.99 since ps3 for sure. even some game before that were over 60 for sure.

bro you should see ubisoft, the crew 1 was like 150 euros for the full game lmao. the 120 euro ultimate mega diamond extreme gold edition still left a 30 euro dlc out.

As a rule of thumb, most big gaming companies these (Obsidian included) days release release mediocre games and expect you to pay as much as possible based on hype and their brand recognition instead of the game being actually something that would worth its value. I could take any old rpg and have way more fun than I had in this one, simply because this game feels stale and does not come with anything innovating. It feels like a bad mmo world that was scaled for a single player experience.
