I was worried I made a mistake when I saw all these posts about the Art Director

I was looking forward to this game forever, and got worried when I saw all these posts, and a 12 minute video about how the Art Director ruined the game... Ok i took some time and researched what he said and watched the video.... Like are you guys joking or just dumb? Now I know I made the right choice to get this game because anyone that hates this game solely because they blindly support Elon Musk is a lunatic

I'm here with you. I've been watching and waiting for this game for a while now. As the days crept closer to release, I checked the board here and saw SO MUCH trashing that I was nervous. But the thing is, nearly every single negative review post contains the word "woke". Sure, there may be other complaints (some say it lacks polish, personality, combat feedback, etc) but nearly all of them are looking through tinted glasses because they feel like this game has some sort of woke agenda. It's crazy

Only an hour now until release, I hate that I cant pre-download but I am stoked to play it. If the biggest issues are polish, personality, combat feedback etc, then mods may be what saves this game but it honestly just looks like a solid game as is and I'm excited to play it.

This is a video game. Stop throwing world views at a fantasy rpg. I'm pumped to play obsidian new game and hope they make more. I haven't seen much on it but I love these kinds of games. Let the game lead you somewhere instead of dumping your personal crap into it. your friend in the game is a fuzzie little midget with large ears and another guy with scales fighting beast with magic; leave reality where it is and enjoy. I'm just upset I have to wait to download to play.

It may surprise you to learn that fictional stories are written by real people, and they are inspired and influenced by those peoples' real experiences. Even if an author isn't intentionally writing a story as a metaphor for real events, their opinions and perception will inevitably influence what they write. Your ire is misdirected... it is the developers and publishers who inject their worldviews into the fantasy and destroy the lore. The player is only reacting to the social warrior garbage dumped into the game. Of which we have every right to do so since it is are hard earned money we spend to escape the daily social bombardment of bullshite in real life. As for Avowed - with less than 10 hrs in so far - not seeing a big issue with it being woke. And your point is valid when we have people ranting about non-existing issues just to undermine the success of game,
