Some annoying issues:

WASD and camera controls
Very slow max time lapse
Clunky controls in general and not customizable
Hate that I can't resize rooms easily :p
Walls and floors doesn't align perfectly, very noticable if you want two open rooms with no wall between them and want different carpets / floors

Love the environments, they feel quite natural. Not as if they were all built yesterday, shiny and sparkly
Game runs surprisingly well on my mid tier hardware (5800x3d and 12GB 6700 XT) even with RT on

For early access I think it's decent. I'm having way more fun with this than I had with Vanilla Sims 4 and Sims 4 with expansions.

Hopeful that they make logic good "design choices" , and keep out things that make the game use to much resources, for WASD they should make it a separate mode, (like in rts-es like manor lords and life is feudal forest village), that kind of has its own time scaling, low implications, if you walk around for 10 minutes in the park that you dont find out the zoi is suddenly middle age and without a job for the rest of its life xD

also where they just jump in the taxi when in the military or office job or whatso-ever, that one day we will actually get to see the workplace and these are just place holders....

I really want to like this game, but I find myself leaning more toward disappointment. The character designer is fantastic, but the gameplay feels severely lacking, with some features not even seeming ready for early access. On top of that, the way the game is being managed is frustrating—key announcements are only made on Discord, causing many players to miss out on rewards. The 'Play Together' event is a complete mess, expecting players to recruit friends just to earn a cat costume, and even then, the system barely works. There's potential here, but the poor execution and lack of proper communication make it hard to stay optimistic.

i kind of low key agree, the design choices are bit too "fluffy" for western taste i think....10 years behind
social media is dead to me ...... 2009 called and it wants its furry costumes back ...

also , cross referencing is anti consumer practice....... surveillance technique even,

dont link ur social media accounts

It's not amazing right now but in comparison to any other title I can think of in the last 5 years
its the only one I'm not disappointed in.
And it is still entertaining.

Except for the superior graphics sort of a clunky Sims. I see great potential for the game and they released the early access in an good enough quality. Though, $40 was a bit high.

Early access games can be difficult to gauge though. It's often hard to tell if something is a bug, or a bad design decision. If this were the final version of the game, i would be disappointed and not playing any more after a week. But for an EA game, I am pretty happy with it.
Its great. But, I got so use to The Sims 2 - 4, that I am learning about this one. The job is fun. I went on a ride. Cant do that with the sims 4. I cant wait to have a baby. :sparkleheart:
I cant complain. its early access and you get to create character/family, build house, go to school, get career, interact with the game in a way that you couldnt with Sims all for $40. I love it.

both.

would've liked to have a better relationship complexity and Traits.
I agree with many of you.
Nice graphic, amazing and stunning visuals, but the game is lacking of contents, and a day is endless.

I was initially delighted but felt bored after 4 hours of gameplay. I'm gonna leave it until more features come out because I'm over the refund limit. Whilst I appreciate it is an early access title, I feel a bit scammed by the lack of gameplay. I wasn't expecting lots of gameplay, but I feel a bit disappointed at what gameplay there is being so lacking. I mean while the sims 1 base game was limited. At least the simulation aspect of it worked and I could waste hours in it. It's just style over substance at this point. I'm going back to The Sims 2 until either a major update or Paralives comes out

For an Early Access drop there is little to really be disappointed with. The game looks great, there is a decent modicum of content, but there are obviously major issues with balance, some controls are wonky, the game isn't super stable etc etc. If they can iron out the jank we're looking at something easily worth the price tag. There is nothing here that can not be fixed and the potential ceiling is that of a modern classic, like a straight up coup-de-grace on The Sims.
Has a lot of potential, looking forward for future updates, the only downside is that it's too demanding. But then again, so was Sims 2 when it came out.
