No Romance Options for Teens?

I made a household with 2 teens and selected roommates. I wanted them to be a couplem but there seems to not be any kind of romance options, I´ve only been able to declare them BFF.

Is romance only available for adults?

EDIT: I am SHOCKED how many disgusting replies are found under this post. My girlfriend and I are both Teens, in a relationship and wanted to recreate us and our relationship in Inzoi.. Teens are also 18-19 Year old people. You guys are making this weird. I have not talkeda bout anything sexual, this is all on you. All I am asking for is a system close to Sims 4, high school crushes, dating, prom date etc.

I'll say for OP that Teens seem in a massive early access state right now given they don't even have their own look. I reckon romance will be added later.

Some people in the replies act like their life started at 18. Most people have their first crush as early as elementary school. During teenage years, people date. It's a normal part of life and another point where Inzoi as life simulation is failing right now. The game feels very sanitized - no children outside of marriage, no LGBT characters unless you made them, no teenagers dating (also no gay teenagers, you can't even set that up in creator). I wonder what sort of audience they are actually trying to reach.

Forum is a mess, everyone were raging cause of “WOKE” game but instead it’s kinda strict.
Maybe no teenage dating cause they want to keep it politically correct?
Or maybe have to add this feature as many others …

As said before: The fact that underage do things in life and to display it to adults in media are two different things. The point why developers do not include it in games is to prohibit adults see underage doing this kind of stuff in their product.

The Devs have used (in the English version) in game terms for the life stages that overlap. They use adolescent (after child), teenager and young adult. The real life definitions of these three terms all include the age range 18-19. Here lies the confusion I think.

Just because a person is a minor doesn't mean they can't get married and raise a family. The age of consent in many countries (including Korea) is under 18.

Any media of displaying people having sexual interaction under the age of 18 can be rated as pornography of underage, no matter if on video or in games.
It doesn't matter if they do in life and if some people see it as harmless, it is just this way.

Interactions can be a grey zone. Means you could argue with "there was a movie in past where they kissed", but because it is a grey zone developers want to be sure not to make something illegal or can be sued for, so to disable everything is save way.

So how do you display romances? It has to be displayed somehow in a game, if you want it included. As I was speaking of a grey zone you could of course just display a heart above their head and call the relationship "close friends", but somewhere devs draw a line.

Two different topics, because you speak of what could be allowed and I was speaking how developers take a save path to not get sued. If I would develope a game, I would also go a save path, instead of having to sweat about if someone could sue me for content.

Then they were lucky. There are people who try to sue companies for anything. I would not blame a developer for trying to be save. However there will be mods, while I do not suggest this kind kind of content and I am not interested into, I am sure there will be mods for.
