Because sometimes you like a game, but it feels like something is missing.
Sometimes you don't even know exactly what's holding back the fun. I had this with some games, mostly sandbox games. Even if I loved the concept , the idea behind it and most of the gameplay, the lack of a goal in alot of them made it difficult for me actually get into it.
Though I am happy that I gave some games a 2. or 3. chance because by then they turned into my most beloved games of all times.
As long as someone doesn't come in and yell "HOW BOORING" and "sh*t" a game is, there is no reason to act like a jerk.
Not even close to the Game in the trailers.
Sounds like a EA or Ubisoft games.
I want to know the opinions Of the others.
I mean... in my very first playthrough last night, It took a grand total of 45 minutes to get my Zoi a husband. I'm not sure if the game/relationships mechanic is just bugged right now, but it seems like Zois have like a 75% chance of forming mutual crushes with any other Zoi after any given positive interaction, and the romantic relationship bar builds SUPER fast compared to the business or friendship bar.
For context, that's 45 minutes with the in-game day length set to max, so it only took about half of one in-game day for my Zoi to form a mutual crush, go on a date, get engaged, get married (since the game considers Zois married upon planning the wedding and not AT the actual wedding), and get pregnant.
I was actually slightly disappointed by this because I got InZoi for the sole purpose of having the slow-burn storylines the Sims just doesn't seem to allow, and this playthrough was my test run of the relarionship mechanics. The only way I could get the Zois to bond sloely was by tanking the romantic relationship development bar thing in the city settings, but then they just started outright rejecting any and all romantic interactions and being kind of mean to each other.
Irrelevant but I was going through this thread while watching a Jerma vod and your pfp made me think I was straight up hallucinating him for a solid minute
Does the game feel empty/lacking in gameplay? YES
Is it fair because its in early access? YES
Sims has its own charm and Inzoi has theirs. Stop putting games against each other. No one is even getting paid to be hostile to people. So everyone is just poor and miserable.
In the city management you can increase population of Zois. When I did that, world suddenly felt... alive?
Still empty though becuase of just how vast the spaces are. I still think they need to add more depth to it, but I won't knock them for it, since its early access.
They are receptive to the feedback as well so if we prod them, I'm sure they will add more to it.
