SmartZoi (AI) AMD GPU question

whats teh AMD GPU requirement to enable SmartZio AI? I only seen nv gpus as a requirement..

No, it worked. Tested it my self, and it had the actual functionality the same as my 4090 did with the XTX.

But as a few others mentioned, apparently smartzoi isn't working properly at random

Tested it with an AsRock 7900 XTX Taichi OC I have, it functioned the same as with my 4090. Fully too. No difference.

IT DID randomly stop working as it should for BOTH cards though.

The feature is experimental, so go figure.

Right. Myself and the other poster have 6000 series cards. Apparently they don't have the newer hardware that's compatible with Nvidia ACE.

Nah, the RDNA2 Supports ACE. How ever, it might be buggier for some reason. It uses ONNX Runtime and DirectML which both are supported by AMD's RDNA2 and 3.

I'd imagine 2 might be iffy though honestly.

RDNA3 is what officially got the AMD AI side jumping for GPUs.

Hence why they partnered with AMUSE AI for the AMUSE AMD APP.

So its plenty capable.

I have the same (“Nothing on my mind right now”). Father Lamb is lying... or he have two drivers installed (for amd and nVidia) maybe that's why it working...

Actually I've been having a great results with a smart boy unfortunately it is in a video only version in this game. Otherwise they would have to use Cloud Server based which I don't think they're going to use

No.. the OTHER PC BESIDE ME with a 7900 XTX IS WORKING.

I'm not making up bs to make it up.. WORKS as it does on MY pc with the 4090..

How ever, BOTH randomly kind of "Dont" work at random as you'd hope they would

either way, not testing it more or messing with either pc running it.

Refunded it for now. The game has nothing going for it besides dress up, model this, take pics, done.

About the same experience as others, enabled it in the config file and turned on the autonomy setting too. "I've got nothing on my mind right now."

Again, it did this same thing with my 4090 system too.

It's been hit or miss with both cards, both systems.

BUT DID WORK FINE with the AMD one.

ACE IS NOT an Nvidia exclusive thing FYI.

It uses DirectML and ONNX both of which run on AMD or INTEL GPU's.

Define working fine for us please. Because so far it just seems they're stuck on "nothing on my mind" in all circumstances. I can't say I have an nvidia card sitting around to test the differences.

Like, what will actually change? As far as I've observed the character just spends 90% of their time standing and going "hmm"

Well its working for me and I can assure you, your efforts are a waste of time. It is so bad it couldve been achieved without the use of "AI", I have it turned off its so bad. It only reveals their "Inner Thoughts", you cant talk to them or anything like that, and as far as their personality goes which is what the SmartZoi feature is actually for in regards to their personal development, I HIGHLY doubt its in game right now as a feature being everything else seems to be entirely lacking.

It works for me.

Sometimes they do only say "nothing on my mind" but sometimes they just brief their latest interaction or events of what they did. Mine pop up stuff in regards to how they felt about their day, or how they feel about interacting with you and so on. Its extremely bland and unimpressive I am not sure why yall are trying so hard to see a wasteful feature.
