Tested as of this morning with an XTX.. works perfectly. Has to be enabled for AMD systems through a config file in your save game.
What file? What did you change?
Config file, within your save in appdata/local/blueclient
This was my default values for it just on and adjusted a bit with a 4090:
SmartZoiActive=1
SmartZoiAutonomyActive=0
SmartZoiRangeInCity=2
SmartZoiRangeInViewport=4
SmartZoiWaitingCount=8
Here is the full path for anyone curious:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\BlueClient\Saved\Config\Windows
The file you're looking for is 'GameUserSettings.ini'
That "email" is from months ago posted by "some guy on discord". The specs sheet that says AMD will not be supported for SmartZoi was within the last week.
And, as evidenced which is more trustworthy, those of us with AMD hardware who have bought the game, find that the option for SmartZoi is indeed NOT present.
As a 7900 XTX owner, you just made my day.
One interesting feature of SmartZOI is you can insert some plain-text information into your Zoi's heads. Like, "You are delusional and you think you are a cat." Then if you follow that Zoi around and look into their thoughts once in a while, their thoughts will reflect what you told it, and their actions should take their thoughts into account. We should be able to make really interesting characters using this feature.
