at your own risk. But don't expect a smooth game.
The graphics will take longer to load and the performance will be slower.
but since the game is poorly optimized anyway. feel free to test it

Edit: But it depends on the graphics card you have. With a 3070 or higher, it might still work. with a 2060 are you just at minimum

It works with DLSS and FSR at 1080p high settings but FPS is very unstable, fluctuates from 60-80 and sometimes even drops to 40 for a moment. And these graphics aren't even comparable to GTA V especially with mods, let alone RDR2. But hey. "modern" games where you need to workaround the poor optimization with higher specs than what it actually needs. Forget about 2060, they should just put 3060 as the minimum requirement with such performance.

What is says what it will actually run on usually don't match. The game will run on my GTX 1060 3GB, but on medium at 24FPS.

24 is not even playable.

And who cares? Learn to read, and then you'll understand what this thread was asking about.

I hope you realize you need that much of a computer just cuz optimization of the games is forgotten knowledge. They work on game just to barely make it work and put them on EA. This game have lots of potential,. my only concern is multitasking, since you can clearly see, they are struggling with this and optimisation as a whole. Game looks good, but nothing to be worth 8GB+ VRAM.

For an FPS or action game, no. for a chill sim game where you watch a character autonomously walk around? It's plenty.

why pay a lot for optimizing a game if your sugar daddy nvidia can sell twice the new video cards if you dont, and does you a nice little quid pro quo ? i think thats what killed optimizing as a common practice lol

It can work. Tried with a laptop with 1650 ti 2G. the 8G requirement is for smart ZOI and AI generated clothing texture

It will work, however you should upgrade regardless . AI is gonna be a huge part of games in the future and most likely will run locally requiring lots of VRAM.

I’d recommend getting a GPU with minimum of 16GBs of VRAM, more if you can afford it.

Aside from the experimental "SmartZOI" which I don't really see it working except for the ZOI's "thoughts" which still aren't even relevant to the specific context I set for my ZOI.

The game restricts to minimum 8GB VRAM for AI Clothing Texture, AI Image/Video to Pose creation and Image to 3D Model creation which can used for home decoration or accessory for ZOI.

If you don't care for any of these AI stuff, 6GB VRAM is enough for normal games with no AI stuff, but there's also mod for inZOI which bypasses the VRAM requirement on Nexus.

Not everyone cares for the AI stuff, some even hate anything to do with AI.

If you're not a graphics freak, you can lower textures and stuff and fit local models within 6-8GB VRAM. Offloading it to both GPU and system RAM is also possible when the model can't fit entire on GPU, with the trade-off that it will be much slower which is not a big deal if it's just creation related stuff. The local models are probably way smaller than usual since it's specialized for this game, the reason it works but not that good.
i have a GTX 1650 and a amd 5 3500 with 40 gbs of ram and get constantly 60 fps and no stuttering / lag / issues and im pretty sure my GTX 1650 only has 4 GBS of VRAM
Pro tip, if you've done nothing but play The Sims or a Nintendo Switch for the past 10 years and got into PC gaming with a micro computer off Amazon thinking you're sorted, you're not. There are specs for a reason. Get a better PC and stop blaming devs for your mistakes.

16g vram ,. game crashes every 20 mins lmfao
I can play the game without any crash or issue on an RTX2060.
Minimal requirement is 6GB VRAM.
8GB VRAM is only if you enable SmartZOI.
