Keep the option of GENDER (or change to sex), NOT body type

The screenshots say "Body Type 1 / 2", the Demo says "Gender Male / Female".
Honestly keep it gender or change it to sex if you want to be correct.
Sexuality options of male/female/non-binary is absolutely fine, no need to use "body type" for sex.
Nobody is complaining about the demo having gender so please, keep it gender or change it to sex, just not body type

Seeing we live in a time where people are sensitive about both options, can't you just make it English 1 and English 2 in the language option, and let those that prefer the terms male and female to use English 2, and those that prefer body type instead of gender and/or sex, the choice of English 1?

I know it's a small thing, but Westerners find that important or something. This way everyone is happy

This is something that is very important to me. I auto-boycott any game with "body type" language in place of gender/sex. From the character creator demo, I think the way inzoi handled it is fine (with male/female options, an additional nb option for the people who want it). If they end up using body type language I will boycott the game.

Strongly agree, in my cultural circles, reducing male and female to simply a number is offensive. 99% of people have no issue with sex being male and female, and for sexual options men/women/nonbinary.

So I hope they don't listen to the 1% of people that are extreme misogynists and misandrists that won't play their games anyway.

Separating body type from the character's gender gives more option for everyone.
If the game is about realism, devs need to drop the outdated standards and learn from games like BG3 or even CP2077.

Regardless of what it's labelled, as long as the sex is separate from the gender, everyone gets the freedom of choice in creating their character however they want.

They can label it as Blue and Pink for all I care. The freedom of choice and variety in customization is what truly matters in creating a character. Not what text label a certain customization option is referred to as.

BG3 does the customization by far the best way by letting the player decide what type of character they want to make and how they want to play that character.

Sorry to break it to you bud but the government and various other groups have been using number 1 and number 2 to describe things for a very long time. It's not "misogynistic" to use Type 1 or Type 2 instead of <term>. It's just covering all the bases (this is called being inclusive).

This is a very valid request. Being a male or female is not just having a "body type", that requires different mesh and a censored chest area.

A good game should reflect that being a female or male means having a different set of advantages and disadvantages while living in a society:

Women always have huge amounts of attention, while men have none unless they are that 10% of male population that are recognized by women.

On the other side, men, on average, do better on many tasks in life, except giving birth.

Game is about creating interesting, compelling stories, and the best stories in history are those like "Gone by the Wind" which reflect on what means to be a woman or man in a genuine way that is believable.

When You abstract the man or woman as a mere "body type", You instantly kill 90% of immersion and fun.

I don't know - may be it is fun and ok for girls to play these kind of games where playing as a woman means just having a dude with a female mesh and everything else in the game world reacts to her as if she was a man, not a woman, but for me as a man - I want to be able to see the difference when I am trying to manage a female character in her "virtual life".

So please, very please: no body types in the game. Please implement features of male and female sex in an immersive and interesting way that is different for each of them in an interesting and meaningful way.

Yeah, BG3 was great because I got to slaughter every non-straight NPC. Pretty cool and satisfying.
