Hello everyone following the dev diaries of Ironsand! Today we want to show you the second location of our game – the Arena

This location is drastically different from the first one. Here, instead of simply moving forward, players will need to defend a position while a massive cannon charges. Your task is to withstand endless waves of enemies who will try to stop the superweapon from charging

We want Ironsand to offer a diverse gameplay experience. Levels in our game differ in their objectives: some require you to move forward, exploring the territory and overcoming obstacles, while others task you with defending against hordes of enemies. This approach will keep you from getting bored and constantly presents new challenges!

Hi, I have just played the demo, it loaded and ran fine with no issues, except at the beginning, I picked up the axe but could not use it at all, no idea why as I was using the correct key. Player movement worked fine, jump, crouch, dash, etc. I tried a couple of weapons, the grenade launcher, worked fine but seemed too overpowered against smaller enemies (spiders and men). I felt that the enemies could return fire more, this might be for the demo only, but I found it too easy to dodge them and far too ...

Greetings! We keep working on the game and have improved the session progression system. Now you can make exciting builds just like in other roguelike games!

There's a screenshot below, showcasing the new types of upgrades added in the latest update. You can already try them out in the game’s demo!

Hello everyone! We're keep polishing and expanding Ironsand. Here's what's new in the latest demo update:

All human and insect enemies have been replaced with robots
Added new narrative details about the Long-eared and the invasion of their planet
Your Long-eared companion can you heal - just press V
Gameplay UI improvement
Improved lights and projectiles, hit impacts and overall visuals
Refind sounds and animations for shooting, taking damage and jumping
Increased base dash charges for faster movement across large areas
Fixed lots of bugs, including wrong enemy spawns
And much more!

All these changes are live and available in Demo. Try out and let us know what you think. Huge thank for everyone following our progress and sharing feedback via our survey

Atrocious optimization for lower end systems

The only graphics setting you can adjust is the overall resolution. Even at very low resolutions could not obtain a stable 60fps.

2 Player bug

When someone stay a bit behind the red energy field can not be crossed so the player stay in starting area.

Bug new patch

The new update is good, but it brought a few bugs. For example, in 2 and further locations you can't see weapon stats. And sometimes at the first miniboss you get stuck in the texture and can't do anything.

Sprint & Hold to Aim

I think the player movement and gunplay would feel more fluid if we had the option to "Hold to Aim" and if we could also hold to sprint besides dash. Any way to add toggle flashlight off as well? Also, there should be an option to view your characters stats or a character sheet that shows the equipment/armor you are wearing, weapon equip info, and the temp upgrades you selected....
