I had the exact same opinion with OP, until I actually played it. As a Hero Shooter and Gundam VS fan, this game is a godsend.

If you want to know why Concord failed, listen to people's criticism, people universally hated its wokeness and the character designs were overwhelmingly unpopular, lets not act like it died simply because it entered a saturated market and its aesthetics had nothing to do with it when they are literally widespread memes now. It failed because the target audience for it is nonexistent. If all it took for a game to fail would be to enter a saturated market there would be no sports games, gacha stuff, mobile games, call of duties or Mecha Breaks.

Just because you don't care doesn't mean that it didn't happen, everyone cares because everyone wants good games. lol

This sort of thing is important to call out and vote with our dollar over, they are constantly let known that they are not welcome while these terminally online people keep spending their investor's money strongarming their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ takes into video games. Woke is dead, the queerbaiting has lost its allure, so now people who used to praise it just pretend it doesn't exist while the rest of us make fun of it for being terrible. It's great to make fun of it, albeit actually depressive that alot of people are loosing their jobs for following the direction of their team, but yeah generally people do care and want their games to be good and be aesthetic, so it's odd to say nobody gives a poopy when that is demonstrably not true.
