Cerebella's Tumbling run button input failure.
Title explains it all. playing through tutorials for the 5th time and Cerbella's tumbling runs eems to want to defy my at every turn. Can't do it no matter what I do (->+ LK or LP, <-+LK or LP) and the tutorial for it, from the eyes of someone who plays fighting games averagely, is confusing I can assume for players who don't get this stuff. in the tutorial it's

"<- [hold], -> +k,
LK or LP"

which I think could confuse players into thinking that it's a chain rather than an option because of the comas not seperating the sets with "or" and "either or" ("how would you hold one direction and use the other also?.." is what my friend thought). Fortunately I've played enough Sf and GG to know combo lingo by now. But I think it should read out somewhere around to the likeness of this:

To perform Cerebella's Tumbling Run:
"<- [hold], then -> +K" or "-> [hold], then <- +K"
'K' can also be substituted by LK or LP."

It would stir less confusion.

Hold back for 30 frames minimum, then press forward+K to start the run, then press LP or LK to stop.

It sounds to me like you don't quite understand how to properly execute the move. It's a "charge" move, meaning you have to hold (Back) for a short amount of time, then press (Forward + K). Then once she starts running, you can input LP, MP, or HP for different moves. With this in mind your suggestion for how to describe the execution of the move doesn't actually provide the proper input, and I would say that the game does an alright job of explaining the move (although I can definitely see why it's confusing).

I almost forgot...once Cerebella starts running you can follow up by hitting LP/LK, MP/MK, or HP/HK (not just the punches as I had mistakenly stated earlier). Pressing LP/LK will cancel the run. MP/MK will cause Cere to run "around" the opponent (you can then press MP/MK again in order to hit them). HP/HK will do a headbutt which gives you a few frames on invincibility on startup. There is a fourth option as well. You can press LP+LK (the grab command) during the run in order to grab the opponent.

I know that much. I was just saying it seemed a bit confusing to my friend when he tried the move(by the time he got to parasoul, he had finally got it down). I understood it because i've played fighting games long to understand the logistics of things, but I admit that it could look a bit confusing for someone who's never put much effort into learning a fighting game like that. I was just making a small suggestion to inform those who are just getting the hang of things in way that's more straightforward if it doesn't seem understandable.

and I messed up the input, sorry about that. I wanted it to read:

<- [hold], then -> +K or -> [hold], then <- +K

So players who don't get it would know that they're supposed to hold back then press ->+K
(My friend literally though he had to hold <- while pressing -> +K all at the same time because it being seperated by comas and no conjunctions(and, or, then, etc.) made it seem like a single command to him rather than a sequence.

Except your more "straightforward" description is just incorrect.
