I'm not that sure man, i think that they would put it at 75% off the next year but dunno,...
I hope not. They deserver the full price they ask for this game. Oh well, more players = more newbies to fight. I really hope to learn from those real fights.
Doubt it, maybe next year.
Why go less than 50%? $7.50 is beyond reasonable for a game like this, and even though it's only gone that far once, it's certainly not going to be the last time to happen. I agree with hickwarrior that Lab Zero deserves all fifteen bucks they're asking for, but I suppose anything that gets more players online is good.
This isn't exactly a company making big bucks, unfortunately, and they have a lot of problems with big companies trying to screw with them, so I highly doubt it'll ever go cheaper than 50% off.

As Grim said, $7.50 is beyond reasonable for a game that's built on hard work and dedication from a tiny team of people struggling against the big evil corporations.

You could have save more when you bought the game at 50% because you would have gotten squigly for free and future DLC chars which would cost 5$ each

Actually, the newer DLC chars are free for I think 3 months, then they cost 5 bucks each. that's what I read on the skullhearts forum.

Plus if the DLCs are bought during the 3 month free period, they stay free after that forever.
This begs the awful question I want to ask of whether they have even seen a dime from the console versions due to Konami. If the game has sold as much as it did, they'd have enough money to have funded the Kickstarter themselves.

It makes me worried that buying the Steam version still isn't paying them the money they deserve.

Nope, Konami got all of the money.
Marvelous AQL gets all the money from buying it on steam.
They only get their money from the kickstarter.

(Though I'm considering sending a donation when I have the money. It won't be much, but... figured I might as well try to help a little...)
They don't make any money from consoles or steam (except the color palette DLC and Squigly IIRC nope nuthin' :( ), but sales DO help! It looks good for future investors willing to work with Lab Zero on future content. Therefore, you can wait for a good deal and still be supporting them, but ideally you'd want to do it before Big Band's 3 month period is up so you get the most band for your buck.

Eightysixed also sells Skullgirls merchandise (currently shirts, buttons, stickers, and posters). A portion of these sales goes directly to Lab Zero, so that's certainty a way to support them.
