I bought the DLC before the current "devs" decided to ♥♥♥♥ over the people who have supported this game from the beginning. I should have known better after Mike Z was cancelled, but I still wanted to support Alex Ahad. Now I wish I hadn't.

I had a chance to try a development build of Marie at Combo Breaker earlier this year, she's looking rather interesting! But I don't think I'll be dropping my main Val/Robo/Para team for her, I've been practically married to that team since 2015. I honestly don't really care too much who gets added, I've got my mains, but I'm happy for any content we get, just glad this game is able to keep going.

Honestly I'm more excited for the balance patch after the notes Liam posted yesterday.[skullheart.com] I guess I also care about seeing Marie's story mode, after the trailer hit us with the twist that the Skull Heart is destroyed and her story will be set in the aftermath I'm very curious to see where that goes.

Ive activelly wanted her in the game since Skullgirls started. So yes. Not sure what the rest of your post is about but I dont care regardless.

Also this DLC wouldn't even of happened if the Mobile version didn't exist.

Marie is a good pick as the final dlc character, now they can let SG die for good. Put that nail on the coffin after all this controversy and potentially more censorship in the future. i don't see myself playing this game again

Yes, I detest the current state of the game. But to say I'm not interested would be a lie. I do want to see Marie. I just wish the game was going out on a high note, instead of, well... this.

It isn't really necessarily going away at all. It's really just a matter of perception. If you choose to see the changes as part of "woke culture ruining everything", then you're obviously going to get worked up over it. Most of the player base will never notice anything has changed at all, and they certainly don't care about the devs having a social conscious.

It's really up to you if you want to enjoy the game on its own merits or see it as a battlefield for a silly culture war.

This is backwards from what actually happens in realty.

In real life, when changes and censorship happen to the things we were enjoying, we get worked up because we don't like the changes and censorship, we don't know or care who's responsible for vandalizing our entertainment, we just want it to stop. Then when we're met with resistance by shills, and journalists, where we're being called a bunch of names and being accused of evil things, THEN we look into why the changes and censorship happen. That's when we discover who's responsible, the people who self identify as "woke" claiming responsibility.

100% of the opposition to your political ideology, was born from your own actions from your side censoring our entertainment, then defaming the people who simply complained. Your ideology would have 0 opposition if you just left our video games, anime, and comics alone.

I keep refreshing their Twitter in the hopes that she's out. I couldn't care less about the censorship because I love the gameplay and the world of Skullgirls. Marie's hype, if you can't see past a few minor changes then that's on you.
