As already said it's much cheaper to just buy the backgrounds/emot, although the skullgirls ones aren't the cheapest but still better than buying a whole badge and get something you don't like. like my craft lol
The Skullgirls emotes are really expensive, though...
I honestly don't know why these cards are still fairly pricey. It's not that rare of a game, the items from the craft aren't in any demand, and the card count for the set is very high.
I find that Steam works in retrograde regarding the basic laws of supply and demand. The sellers are always trying to undercut each other due to the fact that there is no governing body regulating trade prices, as is the case in the real world. Take the winter sale cards for an example. Those cards were at fairly low prices due to the fact that the large number of sellers were dropping prices in order to move the cards before they expired. Skullgirls is the opposite. Only a very few people buy the cards, and those people are willing to pay more for them due to the fact that there simply aren't as many floating around.
