Is it just me who thinks Beowold shouldn't be in Skullgirls

It's not because he's male, it's alright to have a male characters if the male number doesn't go over the ratio of female to male, 8:2. It's because he got bad design and also doesn't suit Skullgirls atmosphere.

Reason why Beowolf has ♥♥♥♥ty character design:

So un-original, one of the reason why I like Skullgirls is because the characters are very original, but not Beowolf. Most of the fighting game has wrestler with muscles.

Dat average guy face with Hulk muscles

Big forehead

Annoying emotions

Character design which looks like a dupe from ♥♥♥♥ty diviant art fan drawing

Terribly drawn pubes



Reason why Beowolf doesn't fit into Skullgirls:

Doesn't fit into jazzy style of Skullgirls, Bigband did a greate job, but not him.

Skullgirls are fight between freaks, his not freak at all;
Filia: Monster hair
Fukua: Monster hair
Cerebella: Hulk arm hat
Peacock: Cartoon freak
Parasoul: Uses umbrella, loaded with gels
Ms. Fortune: Removable Head
Painwheel: Wheels
Valentine: Ninja nurse
Double: Monster
Marie: Skelton
Bigband: Trumpet Robot
Eliza: Mummy
Squigly: Snake
Beowolf: Wrestler with a chair

Character designs of Skullgirls are usually between Anime and Cartoon, but Beowolf is complete on cartoon side (Peacock is fine because she meant to look like classic Disney cartoon)

Who the ♥♥♥♥ want to see a chest hair and a man nipples in a game called skull "GIRLS"

at the time, you cant use him unless beta, also I used him alittle bit on normal version, but he is constantly uses his arms and legs, to me monster arm and chair looks like a support

oh gosh guys beowulf is a bad character because he doesn't use the arm for all of his normals...oh the humanity. Again we are saying a character having a variety of attacks is a bad thing..because it somehow makes them less of a freak than other characters.

I am actually a little more concerned that Beowulf is in the game called skull"GIRLS" than the reasons you provided. The "All are freaks except Beowulf" seems valid , which I am not going to deny. Now if Beowulf is a transgender, that might make some sense. I am kidding of course. Yes, I do know the story of Beowulf.

But yes if we're going on that note, pretty much everyone in the game has a "freak's" weapon.
Fillia has Samson.
Cerebella has Vice-Versa.
Peacock has... aguments? (Got no idea what to call them. Point is she's normal not including the machinery.)
Parasoul has magical Parasol.
Ms. Fortune is one of the few freaks in the game, when you think about it. Even so, it's mostly because of the Life Gem.
Painwheel has Wheel, as well as Skullgirl blood.
Valentine has... well no one's quite sure. She got some perk-ups at Lab 8 or something that allows her to move that fast.
Double. Kappa.
Squigly has Levithan.
Big Band was rebuilt with Music.
Fukkua is another one I'd vaugely consider a freak.
Eliza has Skemet.
Beowulf has The Hurting, and Grendel's Arm.
Robo Fortune is kinda a freak, since she's a robot. She was built that way.

street fighters roster isn't exclusively people who fight in the streets...vampire saviour isn't soley vampires...fighting games.

your original point was that you could come up with wrestling games where he could fit better...and yet using an arm isn't wrestling. He has piledrivers and splashes...he has a giant arm and a wolf cloak that changes its form...he's a bit of both...and thats fine.

beowulf as a character doesn't care..but he does stumble into current events because he is dumb as a bag of rocks...and thats what we call interesting. Rounded characters are more fun. His story is ohohoho I'm making a comeback..but not every story needs to be needa defeet duh skullgirl cause reasons...The skullgirls universe is larger than that.

Are you refering to Vampire Saviour: Lord of vampire aka darkstalker 3? It revolves around Jedah , which is pretty much the lord of vampire. The title isn't misuse in such a case.
How would you say Street Fighters are not fighters that fight on the street , when it is clearly they do for their various reasons and that the maps(or most of them) have such strong indication. I am certain there are franchise which has misleading titles, but these two have titles that are justified.

From an angle, you can argue that those girls are potential candidates to become the skullgirl. That by itself, allow the title to seem appropriate with the exclusion of Big Band and Beowulf (Perhaps even double?).
Though if Beowulf or Big band should exist or not is the least of my concern.

the entire argument was that the title is appropriate tho...

street fighter and vampire saviour fit...but one could argue that much like skullgirls the titles don't literally translate to everything the game is in a nutshell...people just see skullgirls and are immediately like...it means all girls...when its not.
