I hate to call things cheap, but honestly Marie is pretty cheap
The fact that you pretty much /have/ to get hurt to get near her, and that her shadow is frickin impossible to dodge (unless hes coming from the sides, usually), and than theres the skeletons she can summon, cheap minigun douche and and the one that just stands but when you kill him he explodes which takes a good chunk of hp out, is all just ridiculous. Her final form isnt to bad as far as I've gotten, considering I still havent got that last like, 1/8 of health. I've only gotten to her with squigly and I havent been able to charge up at all since her skulls and ♥♥♥♥ always get you. I can pull off some combos in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of skulls and me spamming airial moves. I could beat SF4s final boss on hard with certain characters, and I cant even beat this possessed loli maid, what is this.

Don't go for combos, go for incrimental damage. Marie's attack patterns in all of her forms are predictable, and you should learn how each character should fight her to take advantage of the windows you can hurt her. If you keep trying to jump into her with every character in each form, you're going to get stomped.

I personally think the easiest character to beat Marie with is Peacock. qcb. HK (Heavy The Hole Idea) let's Peacock dodge almost every single attack in stages one and two. Spam projectiles (Stage 1 Heavy BANG BANG BANG and Shadow of Impending Doom to deal with skulls, Stage 2 s.HP + qcb.HK) and use The Hole Idea after you see her telegraph. You can save your bars for the end of the stage 2 and start of stage 3. End Stage 2 with Argus Agony and Stage 3 should start with Lonesome Lenny->Argus Agony to push the bomb right into her. She should have less than 10% at that point where you can easily finish her off with projectiles if you're scared, or j.LP->j.LK->j.MP->j.HK if you feel like being a little more risky/if you're strapped for time.

Every character has an approach to beat Marie, I can promise that.

This is an approach I used to take but was proven inefficient once I got a better hang of the game.

Since Marie doesn't block, on most characters spamming a heavy attack is enough. In particular characters with a low profile attack like Filia's K3 in crouch will take no or almost no damage from phase one by just spamming that attack. Phase two is similar except you have to deal with some knockback. Phase three is the problem since your health sinks really quickly and the volume of attacks makes it hard to get near and land a hit, but if you keep in mind how you want to hit her in the air it's not too bad. A high-damage air special can save the day here but normal attacks also work, the problem is you only get time for 3-4 hits.

I was writing it this way because, if you check OP's profile, he started playing the game yesterday. I think he would learn better playing Peacock into Marie to see Marie's different attacks and get better at responding to her shadows, which OP mentioned he had problems with.

Range, It's marie's weakness. I main big band (probably could tell by my profile pic lol) and all I need to do to beat her is spam brass knuckles a bunch of times and pull off a few super-sonic-jazzs:filiahat:

Marie is a fighting game final boss, of course she's cheap. It's the law, y'know! At least she can't end the entire match in one QTE like Justice, or make herself invincible at will like Gaoh.

If you're playing Squigly, you should be able to get through her first two forms by repeatedly doing j.MK > j.HK to stunlock her. Save up all your meter so you can finish off her third form quickly. She's not too aggressive until you start playing on higher difficulties.

Ahh thank you guys, glad to know the communities so supportive, got some nice tips to follow cause of you guys. And ReluctantZombie does make a good point, she could've been much worse
Specials and moves in the air that do many hits are the key
Fukua - j. Mp for example is great and Peacocks j.Hk

Hey well I just beat her with Eliza, her c.(k?Ithink) where she creates the blood boat can easily get you through her second form, depending on how active she is and the difficulty level

I thought fighting game bosses were supposed to be cheap?
