Controls summed up.
And here's some other things the tutorial may ask of you:
c. (which stands for crouching, AKA: c.LK, which means Crouching Light Kick)
j. (which means jumping, AKA: j.HP is Jumping Heavy Punch)
s. (meaning standing, AKA: s.MP which would be Standing Medium Punch)
sf. (which is standing-forward, AKA: sf.HP Standing-Forward Heavy Punch)
K (press any kick button, only one, not two at the same time)
P (same as above but with punch buttons)
That's probably all of them, besides the buttons such as LP, LK, etc, and the already mentioned PP and KK. Just keep practicing and it should work (though if a combo-related tutorial is giving you trouble you may want to skip it and re-do it later, that worked out for me, anyway).
Edit: And to see if you're pressing the KK buttons right, take a look at the button inputs below, if you see a symbol of 6 dots with any two at the bottom lit up at the same time (because the bottom row represents Light to Medium to Heavy Kicks, top row does Punches), you did it right.
edit ; I should have reread u Carthief, but i didnt know there was 2 button for kicks lol, i was mashing the A button 2 times in a row thats why it didnt work :d
It also never hurts to see if what you're inputting is similar to what the tutorial asks of you (especially handy with difficult movement inputs, like the 'dragon punch'/'z-motion' attacks, or 360's, and so on), and correct whatever mistakes you find.
