Dahlia = Delilah?

Probably minor, but some thought has been bugging me ever since I played Eliza's story.

Why do I keep thinking that Black Dahlia has some connection to Samson's original host Delilah? Is it just their names sounding similar? Or that Dahlia's face is practically spoiler-tagged by that veil? Or that Dahlia's presence in the roster is required for the first True Story Mode? I just feel that Dahlia might be way more important to the story than we may first realize...

ha. I actually thought the same thing when reading it, I actually corrected the spelling in my head so you are the first to form the contrary for me.

Seems possible though, maybe a new parasite found akin to Squigy in some regards. Must be tied in with some future character regardless, because right now is just a namedrop without context.

It may be a coincidence. Black Dahlia is also the name of an unsolved real life murder case from 1947, so it fits in with the character's vintage fashions and morbid homicidal behaviour.

Unrelated: She's my favourite character, I'm hoping she gets a moment to shine in the future.

I remember reading somewhere (not sure if it's canon) that Black Dahlia was the first ASG (Anti Skull Girl) unit, which is kind of why Peacock and her have a rivalry going on (prototype versus latest version).

Black Dahlia works for the Medici Mafia, and given her appearance in Squiggly's backstory, probably has since before Peacock was born. So they have no apparent prior association before meeting at the end of Peacock's story mode.

That said, the idea of her being a rogue ASG unit is pretty neat.
