I don't get it...

Haven't played his story yet, so maybe this will explain things... but why is Big Band a playable character in this game when he is a guy, and the game is clearly supposed to be only girl characters?

Actually, Lab Zero was going to make the cast half males and half females. But money issues happened, the name of the game is supposed to be Skullgirls. Because the Skullgirl is evil. I don't think it has anything to do with the cast.

Skullgirls is the name of the game because the story is about fighting Marie - The Skullgirl

Lab Zero never said the cast was to be exclusively female. The idea was to flip the stereotypical gender roles on their heads; in other words, where most games have about 3:1 or 4:1 male to female ratio, this game is aimed at having the inverse.

I think he means SOME of the female characters, such as Valentine, Cerebella, Ms. Fortune, Etc. P.S His story is pretty good.
