Why is there so much Kill la Kill crossover artwork?

Just noticed an unusually high amount of it along with several skins based on Kill la Kill characters. What the relationship between these two?

Various people on the team are fans, and the peacock voice actor played Nonon in the american dub.

Nothing, other then the main artist being an extremely big fan of it. I've also seen him do Gurren Lagann and Madoka Magica art.
