OFcourse they're all good games, but honestly we have enough characters.
Also to make marie playable and also FAIR, you'd probly need to redesign her a bit and tweak her appearance and also give her WAY more animations, since she kinda only has like... at most... 5 if you only look at her first form.
Though she is easily my favorite character, being the most interesting to me personally, though I just like the idea of the Skullgirls as forces of evil. Doesn't help that Marie highly reminds me of a necromancer, and I have a big thing for those. :D
As the dev said himself, making Marie playable and viable would basically require to create her from scratch, which is the reason she was among the potential vote characters with no discount in the budget.
It's time, effort and money in animation, design, coding and balancing that Lab Zero can not affort to invest.
