Need help with the Brass knuckles move (Big band)

I did <- (hold) -> + P/MP/HP And keep getting P/MP/HP attacks.

How long are you holding back for? It isn't a tap, you need to actually hold the button down.

Its like a second and a halfish you that you need to hold it down from what I understand

It's about 1 3/4 secs. Also, the move is easy to do.

After holding Back, make sure you motion into forward then tap a punch button at the same time.

If you release Back, then tap forward, the charge gets lost.
