I think this game could benefit from controller vibration.
Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but history has shown me that a simple suggestion like this can somehow attract trolls and fanatics who only want to tell you in so many words that your idea sucks, which can lead to a flame war, so I'm just telling you up front that I'm not looking for any of that crap, okay? I'm just voicing my opinion, and no one needs to be a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.
Anyway, I like it when the controller vibrates in reaction to certian points in video games, and it makes the game feel more alive, and fighting games are no exception.

That's a fair enough point, I guess. Personally, vibration's alright in shooting games and games where it can serve as a warning you're being attacked from offscreen and the "being damaged" animation isn't a good enough tell.
"and fighting games are no exception."
I think they sort of are. Having the controller shaking in your hands when you're trying to nail exicution and neutral and outplay your opponent is one more thing in the way.
I'm pretty sure every pro player for Super Smash Bros for example turns off vibration.

I don't think it would "benefit" from it so much as /you/ "like it."
I don't think that I would like my fightstick vibrating. I can think of a significant portion of this game's player base that would probably like it if their controler vibrated on their lap every time that buxom character on the screen hits them, so maybe others would be a bit more keen on it than I would.

I can't think of an example were including rumble in a fighting game wouldn't be kinda annoying, except for when the player doesn't have control anyway. Might be funny for the controller to vibrate when your character get's KO'd, just as an added "You dead, son" element.

On the other hand, GameTech is putting out an arcade stick with a vibrating wrist strap this month, so somebody agrees with your sentiment enough to spend time and money implementing it into an actual product.
SF4 has rumble? I wonder why it's not included in later editions.
Well it doesn't support rumble with my Xbox 360 pad, and my pad rumbles with other games.

does the console version of skullgirls support rumble? i remeber games like virtua fighter 5 and soul calubur had rumble, with the option to turn it on and off. i usually had it on.
I don't think the console versions have it. (Speaking of which, why the hell is there no Wii U version?!) It's not that big a deal, it would just be a nice touch. I wonder if the developers of Arkham City would be available to make that implementation since they seem to love programing vibrations ... or they felt that the game needed vibration for everything, which it pretty much did.

You don't need SGs extremelly unnecesary long comboes for it, there is an option on control panel that let you test the vibration and choose how hard it does and you deceide when to turn it off....I mean just saying...i mean whever is owning you in the game will realize what's all that about
It's not for aid. I just like to feel feedback when something happens to my character in the game.

I would not use it. It make me lose my concentration and it makes me shock whenever I have the rumble in my hands. I haven't played with vibration for like 6 years now?

Of course it should be optional.
