Suppose Beowulf's AI isn't too bad either, but also gets hit out of his attacks alot. And in general, all the DLC characters seem to have more agressive and competent AI then the starting cast, since they had another guy do the AI for those. God knows why Painwheel's AI is so... idle, though. You'd think they would atleast have her attack once she flies close enough to you, instead of flying until it runs out, perhaps a glitch...?
And speaking of Fillia's AI, aparrantly she has trouble blocking high, which leads to many people just recommending that you spam Clone (H), which is a overhead attack, or atleast she seems to have trouble blocking overhead attacks, being in the air might get her to block high.
I've been practicing with Eliza and I come to notice that the bots don't register her boat as an attack. 80% of the time they don't block it.
Which is wierd, because they block Cerebella's Lock 'n Load and Valentine's Savage Bypass (mostly).
But really: Even in the incrediby (and I do mean incredibly) low tier that I'm in, players play considerably better than bots.
Even those who spam spam a lot more adeptly than how the bots spam.
Or you have those Big Band players who use Brass Knuckles until the cows come home.
My point is that I often see players who have have optimised undizzy-reaching combos, and yet so little idea about neutral game that they can't land a hit to start the combo in the first place. This is not the case with a keepaway Peacock, since this approach means every second is adjusting her projectile cloud to what the opponent is doing = being constantly in neutral.
Of course, there will be Peacоcks who don't pay attention to the opponent and just blindly repeat a projectile pattern over and over. Those end up being quickly figured out and appropriately punished - which in turn forces them to adjust quicker than any other character, since a Peacock will manage far worse than any other character without having a good neutral game.
!painwheel is a bad character!
She's also easy but she's random as hell.
She would try to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grab across the map lol
I kinda just does whatever.
When she isn't blocking everything with reaction times good enough to beat Turbo Tunnel without any problems, she's spamming hairball/airball and then chaining it into Gregor Sampson or more normals followed by another hairball.
Double has always annoyed me, but she doesn't frustrate me as much as Filia because I always have that feeling like I can do something to shift momentum in my favor in spite of the surrounding circumstances - although whether or not I manage to do so is a toss up. With Filia, it's just blocking and blocking followed by a long combo. Doesn't matter if I change from crouch to overhead or anything, she blocks it and then takes advantage of any opening and brutally punishes me for it.
Always blocking no matter what you throw. Although if you had a good attack mixup then you can punish her, a good Assist is Big Band's Giant Step (H) Since the shockwave hits no matter what, unless it connects.
