So I dusted off this game to get the achievements but no matter how many story modes I finish or things I try, it doesn't give me a single achievement, what should I do?

First of all, did you take a look at your achievements to see if you already got them? It might sound stupid, but you might be surprised how often this turns out to be the case.

After that, tell us about your system. Are you playing on Mac, Linux or the Steam deck? I have heard of games not triggering achievements with all three of those. Also make sure you are connected to Steam when you do the actions to trigger the achievement.

These seem like basic questions, but once we take care of the basics we can dig deeper.

I've been having the same problem. I'm playing on steam on windows, I'm looking at the achievements, and I'm connected to steam. I played this game before and I could get them but after coming back to this game to try the new marie update I'm unable to get a single achievement, the progress bars steam has won't even go up at all.

I have made sure I even checked by redoing the stories and I still have no achievements.

Were you playing where there was internet? Some achievements I've had in games didn't register properly unless I was online.

With the basics out of the way, my first thought is to verify the integrity of the game files. You can do this by right-clicking on the game in your library and choosing "properties." You should be able to find the button to verify from there.

If that doesn't work, you can try to uninstall the game, then reinstall it. Steam will remember your game progress, so you shouldn't have any issues there.

If those don't work, it's possible that the developer broke the achievements with their latest update - it happens occasionally. Send them an e-mail describing your problem and they might be able to fix it.

Unfortunately, I've gotten about as far as I can get with achievements in this game, so i can't test it myself. I can't see how far you've gotten in the game, Sherlock_t, since your profile is private. But I was able to see eel337. You've made some progress with the achievement where you have to parry attacks with Big Band. If you want to test it out, let me know and send me a friend request. I can reinstall the game and then, when we have the opportunity to be on at the same time, I can meet with you in a match and lob some softball FPs at you with Peacock. If you can bump up the achievement to 50, Steam should pop up the notification in the corner - then you'll know it's working again.

Patch notes mention there was an issue with achievements not unlocking, should be fixed now.
