Actually I've seen it requested when the 2nd Encore DLC was still a thing (though it was here, I don't know about the Skullheart forums) but it was never implemented. Same for "finisher cries" or however you want to call that feature; 2nd Encore added it.
Aside from that, my personal stance is "giving more options to players is good", so yeah, that would be nice (and it doesn't seem particularly complex to implement).

There isn’t one, the best you can do is set voice volume to 0 before entering (but that also turns off the voices everywhere else).

That normally happens with Boss Characters that later become playable, they either get move tweaks or in some cases, just get an entirely new moveset.

Not good, but certainly not as "boring". Surely her spirit bomb could have at least been a nod to her Skull Heart boss phase instead of a generic cyan ball?

Boss Bloody Marie is more similar to say Galactus mode in UMvC 3, very basic overall, not too difficult, rather limited moveset and so on. Playable Marie has skeletons to use (via German Suplex's or picking her back up after a knockdown), dust bunnies, her Vacuum Cleaner, Mr. Hilgard (via a massive punch or a laser beam attack), 2 giant skeleton hands for supers (via a big punch from the sky or bounce around with the grounded hand) as well as a Super Spirit Bomb to chuck at her opponents. Playable Marie is more balanced to be an actual character to go against the other characters, vs Boss Bloody Marie, who is basically the final boss and that’s about it.

I think she's quite fun. Hard to top what Dahlia offered to the table in terms of gameplay and uniqueness, but she's definitely well rounded and turned out much better than expected.

Way back when I heard Marie was being added, I was scared that the devs would take the easy route and re-use a lot of her boss assets and make her a spammy zoner. Luckily, that was not the case, and instead we got a pretty fun character with some great animations. Her jumping light is probably my fav, and I love the Spirit Bomb reference as well

I strongly disagree. Marie's boss fight is probably one of the most boring ones I've encountered in a fighting game. Sure, the art is obviously good, but as far as gameplay goes, she ain't particularly fun to face

I found her story mode adorable, and while I'm still having trouble figuring out how to keep her momentum up, her moveset is really nice. The only thing that bothers me is, the framerate of some of her animations (like the bones that fall away on s.HP) are much higher than those of other characters, to a noticeable degree. I wonder if some of the older art should be given a second pass to bring it up to the same specs as more recent characters.

I fully agree, Marie is easily my favorite new character in terms of gameplay, Umbrella in close second.
