Feels bad for ya.
I didn't had it until most recent patch. And if my anti-virus says its a malware it is malware for sure.

Maybe something infected the game. Uninstall the game, perform a full scan, and then reinstall it and try again.

After Spyhunter 5 got rid of malware i did full scan. My machine is clean, however i don't plan to re-install anything. Not going to risk it.

Understandable, but read this post to know why it happened: https://steamcommunity.com/app/245170/discussions/0/4302599226621948306/

My anti-virus didn't found anything when people had trojan problem few days ago. I still plan on waiting a bit longer before deciding if i want to install Skullgirls again or not.

So in the other thread there was a link to another game that had the trojan warning. The trojan warning happens because Skullgirls download mini patches under 1mb that gets detected as a virus.

TBH I think it's pretty bad publicity to have so many people complain about a trojan virus and that the devs probably should just put out mega patches like once a week or something, but there isn't a trojan, malware, or anything. It's a false positive.

You probably already know this but people are going to read this thread so I thought I might as well explain what's happening.

Windows Defender, same thing, Severe Threat it says, and then you scroll down and its the Skullgirl exe in the steam folder.... Very very most likely a false positive...

Yes, but this time we don't talk about Windows defender. Before i had no problems while rest had trojan warning. I have pretty strong anti-virus and it didn't found anything before, but now? Suddenly it popped out after new patch.
