I need help assign a controller-

When ever I go to settings to assign the wireless controller I have paired, it wont let me go down and select it. I might sound really dumb but I need to know because I cant play with keyboard :(

You might have to navigate with your keyboard first.

I did using the arrow keys and it wont let me select the wireless controller option </3

As someone not familiar with the settings, how is it being identified by the game/computer?
Is it a generic being recognized as an xbox 360 gamepad, is it a PS5 gamepad, is it an 8BitDo SN30 Pro?

The game and computer label it as “wireless controller” its a ps4 remote

My main issue is that i can only select “keyboard 1” when im in the “choose controller” section of the settings.

Does your controller work for other steam games? It could be an issue of Steam not recognizing it.

Do you have Steam Input enabled? Try turning it on if it's off, or turn it back off if it's on.

probably steam , in corner of Steam (view etc) choose SETTINGS there a choice for the brand of controllers. ps4,xbox,ninten,generic. able them to use as see fit.
