Skullgirls boycott in effect

I have announced an official boycott of Skullgirls until the developers, including Future Club, reverses their decision to censor the game for the sake of political correctness. And I am calling on all Skullgirls fans to join in and take action. Create petitions to pressure them to change course, make your voices heard on social media, and email the developers involved. Spread the word on the Skullhearts forums. Whatever it takes. Use the hashtag #BoycottSkullgirls.

And please refrain from extreme responses such as threats. They do more harm than good. And that’s not what a protest or boycott is all about.

Future Club is not only censoring art, they’re also taking away the soul of what made Skullgirls what it is.

Don’t let them censor Skullgirls!

Petitions will be ignored and email would eventually be blocked for spam. Social media will note how you're the odd one that needs to get to terms with the current society guidelines and be dog-piled on until you quiet down. One can hope the studio will open discussion with the community on the subject, but they could also just embrace their inner Steve Huffman.

Instead point people in the direction of a better product. Bring up the parts of the game's history that is conveniently being scrubbed when possible.

Suggest to venues where the game could be used in to not use it. If people insist on playing the game, suggest buying the used, physical PS Vita or console versions where possible and play offline to avoid any update they may potentially get while not providing money to the company.

Well then maybe you should stop giving free advertising to the game. I didn’t know the game existed until I read an article about some anti-woke crusaders running amok in the reviews of some game I never heard of before. Some percentage of people learning about the game are going to like it and end up buying it.

I don’t think a video game boycott has ever worked in history. Do you know of one? They tend to just be angry conservatives making games they don’t like more popular. I only know of one by non-conservatives and that one didn’t work either.

And BTW, if you already gave them your money it’s kind of a moot point anyway.

I paid this game years ago through Humble Bundle for cheap out of support for Mike Z in a way. Now that he got destroyed over feelings. We got losers ruining the game. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. Just send it to the grave because the people who owns it is going to octa-down in destroying the IP because ppl have this desire to "keep ppl safe", only to create more of the problem that are trying to prevent.
