Not sure if this is bait, but if it isn't this guy summed it up pretty well.
I think the most egregious change imo is the removed guest art and announcer voice. I can kinda understand not wanting to edit guest art to remove elements from it, but completely removing it, even from the art compendium and editing concept art kinda sucks. The announcer voice was a reference to (and was voiced by) someone who got ousted by the company, but it was a stretch goal for the "Keep Skullgirls Growing" fundraising campaign.
Also the change to Big Bands story mode doesn't make much sense to me. Its not a "Black man get beat up by cops" thing, its a "Police officer get betrayed by his fellow officers who were payed off by the mob" thing. Its pretty much a robocop reference, why change it?
