You mean Severin?
I haven't played in the Ball Room stage with that NPC set, so I haven't seen it myself
just wanna point out that you would still have to go out of your way to patch out a mod and not fixing it takes infinitely less effort than fixing it
Someone is forgetting they are not Bethesda. At least with games like Elder Scrolls everyone and their dog ( at least on PC ) knows that you are going to get a much more attractive & competent game experience if you install at least one mod. Skullgirls at least used to be something I would not even have to bother installing a mod on to make something objectionable go away.
When selecting the stage, press and hold the needed buttons to get Sonicfox stage instead and same for any other cameo stages. Maybe for Casino stage, you can hold certain buttons to get only fighting game reference cameos like the dogs dressed as Guile and Chun-Li?
Yet, he seemed unsure about people who actually own the game, but don't play it.
So far it seems nobody has asked him for a refund, it just looks like overblown forum hate.
Early in the controversy, Mike Z considered using a button combination to pick different versions of the Stage. But since the mod came out (a mod Mike Z allowed), I don't think he'll do that.
Right now, if you pick the Play Again option in a Stage with multiple variations, the game will cycle through those variations, no more random changes. I think Mike Z might leave it there.
EDIT:
And let me just ask. Why are you saying he (((allowed))) a mod? The way that quoted text from the blog post, that's called a threat. I don't see how this dude, is being generous. Because I can just go in and delete files until the game does what I want. He's not doing anyone any favors, and he is certianly not being magnaniomus.
You've got refunds. You've got the mod. If you're on console, you can just stage select to get Victoria back if looking at the blue furry character offends you so.
