Eliza doesn't have good traditional ground normals and is weak to grabs (the only grab-invincible reversal is her 3-meter). In exchange, she has a rather unique combination of other stuff. She has scary aerials. She has solid overheads, the best normal grabs, and hyper armor. She has the only good "sweep" in the game ('cept for Double's Cilia Slide, which is like the only real sweep), which is projectile-armored, travels over half-screen, and can be special-canceled during active frames. On defense, she has a Guilty Gear anti-air plus a hit-invincible reversal that can be comboed meterlessly. She also has good damage.
Salty, are we PH?
Think of Double as a jack of all trades but master of none.
She can zone proficiently, has a safe DHC & decent enough normals (among other traits). But she struggles with opening the opponent up, benefitting heavily from mixup assists.
Basically, while her abilities cover a wide range of bases, she doesn't excel in any particular area (unlike say, Filia with rushdown, or Peacock with zoning).
Touché man. Touché.
