Anti-cheat system is a joke

It randomly kicks/bans people out of games to show the "mighty power" of "Justice Bringer" because other players in the match see it and think like: "wow it's really working". The truth is I highly doubt there is any real anti-cheat system because it usually bans third party softwares which don't give any advantage in game. These are usually system tweaking softwares related to pc specs such as gpu and cpu.

Devs are aware of how sh*tty their anti-cheat system is so they set bans to 1 hour and 24 hours lmao. This is the first game I see "cheaters" don't get perma banned. If the banned players are really cheaters and they will keep cheating after their short ban ends. If they aren't cheaters and getting banned for dumb things like using steam deck then probably real cheaters are not even getting detected.

Note: 5 players out of 10 in Sinner's End casual got "banned" by Justice Bringer in my very recent match. Idk were they cheating or not but that's enough to kill the game no matter what.

Idk what region you are in but in NA East i've only seen the Justice bringer notification once (knocking 2 players) in the over 200 hours i've had in this game.

Ah, that's probably the Asian gold/RMT farmer issues. Since they are close enough their ping isn't too high for them to try and exploit RMT stuff over there too. Sorry you're experiencing that but at least they are getting banned. I guess back end wise they probably are banning the accounts, the sad part is the barrier to entry is just create a new steam account.

I wouldn't say they are getting banned. Unlike %99 of online games which perma ban the cheaters, Dungeonborne bans them for hours or days that's pretty strange. They just keep playing the game with different cheat tools once the ban is over. They don't even need to create new accounts to continue cheating. This is a huge problem but devs are somehow not changing the banning system to make it more punishing.

Well from the last "patch" they actually said they banned quite a few people. Although i think they should hardware ban more often than just normal ban which would solve more of the issue. Half a million accounts just banned so they can make new one's seems silly.


From August 19 to August 25, our security team analyzed multiple types of cheats and has strengthened the crackdown on cheaters: :z_banmmer:

9,275 confirmed cheaters have been banned for 10 years), this includes a new banwave on players using scripts (auto matchmaking and leveling)

836 devices have been hardware banned for severe violations

A total of 560,000 accounts were banned for botting (creating new accounts, claiming beginner rewards, and then transferring the gold to a 'mule' account for the purpose of RMT)

How is it related to my vac ban? I can show you at least 10 screenshots of multiple bans made by Justice Bringer in my games. Prove me im wrong instead of blaming the vac ban son

I get the message cheats blah blah and got kicked out of the game 2 times in 10 min, just started to play with steam deck.... And dont have any weird ♥♥♥♥ installed, just games...
