Perfect! Simply perfect! All we could ever want when it comes to building systems!

It's ABOUT time ! I was starting to believe this game was falling behind other games that allow this. Like Dual Universe for example.

NOW if you will allow smoothing so we can design ships the way we can in Dual Universe, I can finally get away from DU.

It's probably not gonna end up in SE1, they're just showing us sneak peeks of tech for SE2.

I'd be VERY angry if they'd not publish Space Engineers 2 one day.
I can't take that much teasing

I guess this means that space engineers 2 is still a long way away since this is still R&D development.

It's always nice to hear that the engine is evolving. :)
The only question is, why is this news about Space Engineers 1?

As far as I know there is no release date for it, nor has it been confirmed anywhere that it is coming at all.

As I said, I think the progress is really good, but teasing things in the Space Engineers 1 info stream that aren't coming for Space Engineers 1 isn't so nice.

If there are things that are possibly coming in SE 2, then create a page for SE2 on Steam and officially post all the news about VRAGE 3 there. Then you can look forward to the updates in the new game.

So now people are hoping that there will be an update to the engine in SE 1, which most likely won't be the case because the whole world generation will also be incompatible with VRAGE 2.

But please don't get me wrong, I'm still happy about any positive news from the team and I'm always happy about your video streams. I really like the game.

Space Engineers was my first game on steam. Over a decade, I've become fairly jaded towards the game. This is one of the first things in a while to make me think, "oh hey, thats actually really cool. Cant wait to see how this turns out."

Can you imagine the insane weapon peep-holes that people are going to make with this?
