I mean if you place a contract block as a player, there are no missions at all.
Sure you can add some but that's not really funny if you have to create your own missions.
Maybe the one case that you mentioned is a funny one but in generall you want to earn money so you can buy ships and stuff from the vendor machine..
NPC missions only spawn on NPCs station, that's why all MES (mod) bases and other fancy custom created bases with a contract block are pretty boring and the block is therefore usless for me.
You expect too much from a system which was developed and added way after the game was originally conceived and developed, and is not a core part of the game, nor will it ever be. It probably only appeals to a small minority of players. Sorry, but there are other games that have way more of this kind of gameplay, it's just not a big part of Space Engineers, and I doubt it will get any more attention at this late stage in the game's life cycle.
On my sp world I hear them but never got a lightning strike near to my position
but nice to know and nice Video
I can't figure out why DLC defenders do so. They fail to understand they are permitting themselves to be locked into perpetually renting software. They don't seem to realize that despite a single DLC being a relatively small price, DLCs can (and will be due to market forces) be added indefinitely.
They also spout nonsense claims like keen needs the money, or imply that keen has good will, despite them wasting SE funds on GoodAI, or their persistent awful handling of the game.
Without a doubt SE should've ended development before any DLCs got in the game.
You do realize that all games on Steam, and for that matter all online storefronts are digital copies, right? Key word of advice, read over what you say before you post, otherwise you will look like a total numbnut.
Edit: I try so hard to listen to the other side's opinions, but when what the say is so outrageously false and then spout claims that I, and others are shills, whiteknights, what have you, it makes me believe the people that have genuine criticism are in a smaller percentage that keeps on shrinking.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!
Post game support? ROFLMAO!!! GIVE ME A BREAK! The only reason they release 'UPDATES' is because they will launch another Pay For DLC with it. They are milking this cow dry.
Would rather they fix the 10 year old bugs that still plague this game. Modders have done 1000X better at making this game worth playing than Keen has.
Edit: and as stated by many others before, THE DLC's ARE COSMETIC NOT CONTENT, you do NOT need to buy them to enjoy the game
I don't think so at this moment, but when the update is released (tomorrow ?) it will be on their support site at https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/announcements
Nope, sorry, I can't be bothered trying to watch and decipher videos with the production and narration standards of something from a nine-year-old either ^.^
