Hydrogen Thrusters do not show up as a buildable item?

I am working on getting up into space from earth right now and I have looked up ways to do so. Everything that I have seen says that you need Hydrogen thrusters to get past the atomsphere. In my building tab (when I press G) I can look up hydrogen thrusters but nothing shows up. I have searched hydrogen thruster in everything that has a search bar but it is still not showing up. What am I doing wrong?

Don't know, if you have built the required blocks to unlock the hydrogen thrusters, they should be available to you.

Can you share a screen shot of your build (g) list and your progression tree with the hydrogen thrusters showing unlocked?

I have the same problem . I built the hydrogen tank and engine to unlock them but they don"t show up in my build tab. They do show up when I turn off progression though

You build the O2 Generator and Hydrogen tank, that should unlock the thrusters. If not, screen shot the two items in your field of vision with the "g" menu showing no option for thrusters. It may be a bug, but need some proof of what its doing.

I too am having this same bug, well i guess i will just turn off progression for a bit and hope developers fix the bug soon...

Judging from your own screen shot you should NOT be able to build h2 thrusters. So game is working as intended. Build a brand new tank from scratch using hand tools (not mods or ship wielders) to unlock the h2 thrusters.

Or just disable the progression system entirely because its crap. Thats what most people do.

Please do not necro old threads, I am sure the people that posted here don't want to be pinged for this. Create a thread instead for problems.

As to answer this however to save time, progression is in the advanced options when you create a new game, or via the edit settings and advanced settings when loading a game. There is a check box amongst the load there saying enabled progression uncheck it to remove the feature.
