URGENT - How do I change world settings without leaving the game?
I respawned in the yellow stock ship, but I wanna keep it in my world after leaving. Can I change the game file and have it still apply when I load the world again? Or is there a way to pull up he menu while playing the world?

Click on save game file were you would normally load (highlight it) and with it highlighted then click on 'edit settings' tab to change things in-game, then click on 'advanced or mods' to change game settings, add, delete mods.

No, there's no way to change the world settings without quitting.

The best way to keep a respawn ship is to merge it with a station.

Well, luckily, that's what I did, I docked it with my base. So that gave me time to exit and change the settings, which is good.

"Is there a way to pull up the menu while still playing the world?"

If you're playing the game in single player mode, the respawn ship doesn't disappear just by closing the game. It's supposed to mean 'if you disconnect from a multiplayer game'

Oh, gotcha. Ok, thanks.

June 2024 I don't think this works anymore. I tried it and it did not work. Unless it's part of the world settings.

Hi, keep in mind we lock +3 months old discussions because the game is not the same after a update where old disscussions may contain false information, discussions that don't have any activity so no new posts since 3 months. also to avoid community reports about "Necroing old" and it is in the forum rules added to pinned green messages.

Never be shy to create a new forum discussion, one problem at a time so all can help on one idea/problem per discussions that matches the game version.

2016 discussion is way too old to reopen.
