I had a small cargo container, an Oxygen Generator, and a Cryo Chamber connected together at my base. Fully powered. The Oxygen Generator had about 3K of ice in it.
I connected a Hydrogen Engine directly onto the end of the O2 Generator, and nothing happened. I tried turning the Hydrogen Engine off and on, tried turning the O2 Generator off and on, still nothing happened. Logged off, and logged back on, no change.
It wasn't until I added more ice to the setup that it finally sprung to life.
Just FYI, with a single O2 Generator, the Hydrogen Engine consumes about 4K of ice per **MINUTE** and puts out 2.5Mw of power. I would assume that is double if you have two O2 generators. That's a hell of a lot of ice, so be prepared.
The more I play and catch-up to the current state of the game the more I am annoyed that uranium is removed from planet. We have it in real-life down here! Why couldnt they just have made it very rare and shoved it very deep underground?!
Use more batteries, and maybe stick some solars on it. If you're running large-grid, you can put windmills on that will work when the craft lock to the ground/base with landing gear or a connector.
