I need help: Ran out of suit energy
Hello... Ummm, this is kind of a stupid question: Can I cheat myself 100% suit energy?

Here's how I got into that position:
  • Landed on planet
  • Built a base (Not powered yet)
  • Built a rover (Powered)
  • Accidentally damaged my storage unit (Not usable anymore)
  • Repaired it with bits from rovers' cabin
  • Ran out of electricity while trying to build a solar panel for the base

Now I can't sit in my rover to charge up and my base has no power. I literally don't have anything, not even a medistation.

EDIT: I'm playing singleplayer/survival mode.

Press alt-f10 and activate Creative Tools. This won't let you operate without power to your suit but it will effectively put you in Creative mode in terms of what you can build and you can also spawn in items.

So place a battery and passenger seat on your base and sit down to repower your suit then delete them and then turn off Creative tools and only you and me and the rest of the Steam community will know what you have done. :steamhappy:

Edit: Seriously, don't feel bad about it. Everyone at one time or another has had to do something similar to get out of a "no win" situation rather than starting over from scratch. This is especially true when you are just learning the game.

I mean "can I" as in "How do I" not "May I". Sorry for writing it like that, it's really rather late for me :)

Thank you very much! I'm just gonna pretend that I touched an open wire on a battery and almost electrocuted myself, but it somehow charged up my suit...
