Admin Console/Dedicated Server commands?

I know I brought up an in-game console at one point on accident... where I would assume that server admin commands could be entered (I wanted to see if I could remotely force a save on a dedicated server, or if there was a way to force a change without reboot of the world) but I can't get it to come up anymore.

Anyone know how this works? Those that I play with were also able to accidentally bring it up with odd keys that don't work for mine (theirs was MMB)

Okay, so after searching the KSWH forums (official game forum) with a different search string, I was finally able to find out how to bring up the console... it involves holding down a modifier (Ctrl, Alt, Shift... I held down all three) and ~. Also, the admin functions work through F3 (player list default) for ban/kick/etc.

Anyone figure out some basic server commands? There appears to be some way to change the server max pop as well as game publicity setting in the F3 screen, but they are greyed out for me (maybe because I'm running as dedicated server on a different machine and not front-end?)

It would be nice to not have to remote into my server to do basic server stuff like saving before someone does something stupid or major (like before we mined an asteroid with a ridiculous creation and the spawn seed bugged out and encased the mining platform in a cube of stone)
