then make sure to luanch the server with the "-console" switch. make a shortcut, open its properties and add -console to the end of the target line.
I removed the "<LoadWorld />" line in the dedicated config file
and
copied all the folders inside the CustomWorlds folder into the DedicatedServer64 folder.
But the Scenario drop down menu is still empty and I get the message:
"Cannot start new world - Premade world not found"
when I try to strart the server
EDIT:
Switched to latest dev build 01.174
and I can now choose from Easy Alien, Mars and Moon.
Where are the others? (EDIT: Turned out I needed to verify the game since I had probably moved the CustomWorlds folder instead of copying it)
I deleted all the Scenario folders from CustomWorlds which I had copied to the DedicatedServer64 folder, since they didn't seem to help. And I can still see the three easy scenarios in the drop down menu.
EDIT2:
This was all on my main PC but when I copied the dedicated zip to my server the scenario drop down menu is empty again
EDIT3:
Got it working!
The CustomWorlds folder needs to be in the content folder and not in the DedicatedServer64 folder as JimTheNinja suggests. The same location as where it is when you install SE through steam.
So if the DedicatedServer.zip is extracted to for example:
C:\SE Dediserver\
then the CustomWorlds folder needs to be located here:
C:\SE Dediserver\Content\CustomWorlds
DedicatedServer64 folder is located here:
C:\SE Dediserver\DedicatedServer64
Seems like there's only three scenarios in the latest dev 01.174. That's why I only got them when I tried on my main PC
EDIT4:
Aaand the scenario menu is empty again. Tried to delete SE folder in appdata\roaming but didn't help.
This is really starting to get on my nerves.
EDIT5:
Even after deleting the SE folder in appdata\roaming and deleting all the server files and extracted the server zip again and copied to cutomworlds folder, I couldn't get the scenarios to appear in the drop down menu.
Loaded a config I made on my main PC and edited the <PremadeCheckpointPath> in the config file and after that I could choose them again.
What I don't understand is why I couldn't see them if I did a clean "installation" of the dediserver.
