"Monitor Input Settings out of Range"
As the title states, when ever I try to launch the game, I get a popup "monitor input settings out of range, change settings to 1290x1024 -60hz" The weird thing is that the game was working fine before hand, but I ended up getting a blue screen, and due to some restart error, I had to restore my PC. After that, the game no longer works. Any ideas?

Try either resetting the configuration (delete the settings file: "%APPDATA%\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.cfg"), or open the configuration file (e.g. with notepad) and modify values of ScreenWidth, ScreenHeight, RefreshRate settings (you may also try changing WindowMode setting to 1, if changing them alone doesn't help).
It worked. Thank you, kind stranger!

Monitor problem
I played SE without problems. But one of the latest updates (1 month) does the game work bad. When I am launching the game my monitor (not the OS) shows me "Out of range". As I know, it means the game doesn't supports monitor's resolution/frequency. The other games had this problem, but it was solved by "ALT+TAB" and "ALT+ENTER". Those keys doesn't work with SE. I didn't found any help on the Troubleshooting SE page.
Monitor: LG Flatron E1911
Videocard: NVIDIA GTX 650 TI Boost
OS: Windows 8.1

While not running SE press Win+R keys (or choose "Run..." command), and paste into the "Run" dialog box's input field:
notepad %APPDATA%\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.cfg
Then press ENTER.

In the notepad window that will appear find a line containing "WindowMode". The content of that line should look like this:
<Key xsi:type="xsd:string">WindowMode</Key>

In the following it line change the value to "1", i.e.:
<Value xsi:type="xsd:string">1</Value>

Save the file and close notepad. Then try launching the game again.

Woah, thank you! I tried to edit cfg files, but couldn't find them.

The file. I didn't looked for it in Appdata folder.

In your windows search bar, just write %appdata%/SpaceEngineers/ then press enter.
There you'll be able to find the file and edit it.

I think I already explained it, but I couldn't find the file until I written this post. I just didn't looked for cfg files in Appdata. I know this folder and I found the file and edited it yesterday.

I was having similar problems to this. The game has suddenly decided that the resolution is too far out of my monitors range. I normally play at 1920*1080. Deleted the cfg file and it works normally again.
